Insurgent Pages, Infinity Pages

Inspired by Borges, I created my library universe with contemporary book miniatures separated in old typographic drawers sections.

An obscure, suspended system, composed of Libraries named as some of his short-stories or literary influences, in relation with the contents of his collections.

It is organized in Main Libraries or Libraries on Libraries and Satellite Libraries, located in specific geographic sites. They have an atmosphere according to their own cultural features, in distinct moments, but they interlace as well as the human evolution history. All those libraries contain countless galleries supplied with ladders that access the endless shelves full of files and text or illustrated books.

There are books of several shapes: wood and ivory tablets, papyrus rolls, codices of parchment, Japanese sewing notebooks, book biding and a list of contemporary structures, among others.

There are books about almost anything: books about books, architecture, religion, biography, collectibles, stories, curiosities, geography, feminism, arts, music, movies, photography, catalogues, dictionaries, politics, almanacs, newspapers.
